Welcome to KB Productions!

Our mission is to bring provocative, hard hitting, and relevant works to the Nashville Theater Scene. We are also comitted to increasing the support and community participation in all forms of Art in Nashville. We are a not-for-profit organization that believes that any proceeds above our operational expenses should benefit local charities, especially those serving the GLBT and HIV/AIDS communities in Nashville. Our company was born with the desire to produce one show, Mysterious Skin. That production received rave reviews and received multiple BroadwayWorld.com awards.

In our previous seasons we were able to donate to N2Africa and OutCentral. We also produce the Stronger Arts/Stronger Cities series at Barnes and Nobles at Vanderbilt and film each session to be aired on the Music City Arts Channel 9 through NECAT. We are proud of our previous productions and of the influence that our efforts are making in our community.

Our next theater production is the multi-Tony awarding play, EQUUS by Peter Shaffer. Directed by Clay Hilwig

Martin Dysart, a psychotherapist in his middle age, finds himself confronted by his most troubling patient yet: 17-year-old Alan Strang, a young man recommended to Dysart's care after blinding six horses with a metal spike. As Dysart learns more of Alan's religious and often sexual fascination with horses, both men find themselves examining the difference between passion and psychosis.
